Welcome to Horaxtra. These are our rules. We've written them in plain English because legal jargon helps no one.
By using our platform, you agree to these terms. If something doesn't make sense, email us at hola@horaxtra.com and we'll explain it.
We're not a traditional booking platform. Here's what we actually do:
We're the matchmaker. Once we've made the introduction, our job is mostly done.
When you click "commit" to an activity:
You can cancel anytime before the enrollment deadline. Just email us at hola@horaxtra.com and we'll remove your commitment for that activity. No charge, no questions asked.
This is where it gets real. You've committed, the educator has planned, other families are counting on you.
If you must leave mid-term:
Why? Your educator needs stable income, just like school teachers. Empty spots halfway through hurt everyone.
Life happens - we get it. Email us at hola@horaxtra.com if you're in a tough situation. We'll try to help find solutions.
Important: Educators are independent service providers, not our employees.
When problems arise: Work it out directly with the educator. If that doesn't work, we'll try to help mediate.
We don't just onboard anyone who can teach an activity. We look for educators who:
Our process: We research their background online and meet them in person to ensure their teaching style aligns with what families deserve - educators who genuinely care about your child's growth and confidence.
You can:
You can't:
The Horaxtra name, logo, and website design belong to us. The activity descriptions and photos belong to the educators who provided them.
Activity videos: The videos featuring educators that you see on our platform have been created by Horaxtra and belong to us. These help you get a feel for the educator's style and what the activity is really like.
Don't copy our stuff or pretend to be us. We're pretty easy to recognize anyway.
If you give us ideas about how to improve Horaxtra, we might use them. We won't pay you for suggestions, but we'll definitely appreciate them.
As our community of educators and families grows, we might add new features like user accounts, reviews, advanced search, or other tools to make finding great activities even easier.
Any new features will be designed with the same philosophy: keep it simple, respect your privacy, and help families find amazing experiences for their kids.
The legal bit (but in plain English):
Your responsibility: Check that activities are suitable for your child, that educators are qualified, and that you're comfortable with the arrangements.
We take problems seriously and will do our best to mediate fairly. Most issues get resolved with a simple conversation. We're parents too - we understand when things don't go as planned.
Third: If we can't sort it out, we'll handle disputes under Spanish law (we're based in Barcelona)
You can stop using Horaxtra anytime. Just honor any existing commitments.
We can ban you if:
We'll try to warn you first unless you're being really awful.
We might update these terms as we add features or learn from experience.
Keep using Horaxtra = you agree to the new terms. Don't like them = stop using the platform.
This covers how the platform works. For how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
Short version: We collect minimal data and hand your contact details to educators when you join their activities.
