Refunds Policy

The Basic Rule

Commitments are real. When minimum is reached and money changes hands, both you and families are committed for the full term.

When Families Get Refunds

Before Activity Confirms

Minimum not reached:

Families are never charged. Nothing to refund.

Free cancellation period:

Families can cancel up to 1 day before enrollment deadline. No charge, no refund needed.

After Activity Confirms

You cancel mid-term:

Families get refunded for remaining sessions (prorated).

You cancel single session:

You must make it up within the term, or refund that session (prorated).

You don't deliver what you promised:

After investigation, we may issue full or partial refunds.

When Families Don't Get Refunds

They change their mind after charged:

No refunds. They committed. Same as you did.

Their kid doesn't like it (without free trial):

No refunds. They should have confirmed kid's interest first.

Their kid doesn't like it (with free trial):

They had 48 hours after free trial session to cancel. After that, no refunds.

Same rules everyone follows.

If You Must Cancel

Before Minimum Reached

Cancel anytime. No penalties. Commitments released.

After Activity Confirms

Full cancellation:

Refund families for remaining sessions. You keep payment for completed sessions.

Single session:

Make it up within the term, or refund that session (prorated).

Emergency Situations

Serious illness, injury, family emergency:

We'll work with you to:

  • Reschedule sessions
  • Issue appropriate refunds

We're human. Life happens. We'll figure it out.

How Refunds Work

Processing time:

5-10 business days back to original payment method

Prorated calculation:

(Total paid / Total sessions) × Remaining sessions

Platform fees:

Not refunded (we already paid payment processing costs)

Disputes

If you and a family disagree about refunds:

  1. Try to resolve directly
  2. Contact us: hola@horaxtra.com
  3. We investigate and decide
  4. Our decision is final

We'll be fair. We want both sides treated right.
